7 Step Improvement Process

Step 1 - Define what you should measure by compiling a list of what you should measure, which will often be driven by business requirements. 

 
Step 2 - Define what you can measure
 
Step 3 - Gathering the data, this requires having some form of monitoring in place. 
 
Step 4 - Processing the data. Once data is gathered, the next step is to process the data into the required format. 
 
Step 5 - Analysing the data
 
Step 6 - Presenting and using the information.
 
Step 7 - Implementing corrective action. Use the knowledge gained to optimise, improve and correct services.
